There is a word I return to again and again in my work: homecoming.
Not the kind that involves planes or trains — the quieter kind. The moment you stop performing, stop bracing, stop carrying what was never yours to carry, and feel yourself land back inside your own body. Most of us have been away from home for a long time without ever leaving the house.
Life asks a lot of us. Deadlines, care, grief, transitions, the slow accumulation of small tensions that the body faithfully stores when the mind has no room for them. And at some point, many of us notice the same thing: we function, but we don’t quite inhabit ourselves anymore.
This is where my work begins. Whether through shamanic energy medicine, Reiki, or ayurvedic yoga massage, every session I offer moves toward the same destination — not fixing you, because you are not broken, but accompanying you back to a place you already know. Your body has never forgotten the way. It has simply been waiting for you to listen.
Healing, as I understand it, is not about erasing the past. It is about integrating it with love. Not becoming someone new — returning to yourself.
In this journal I will share reflections from the treatment room, gentle practices you can take into daily life, and honest thoughts about what it means to live in closer contact with yourself. In English, Danish and Portuguese — whichever language feels most like home to you.
Welcome. I’m glad you found your way here.
